While the Euro-Pro name has long been respected in sewing circles, it was with the '90s launch of the company's distinctive and strikingly named Shark handheld vacuums, with their bulbous noses and finlike handles, that Euro-Pro became more widely known. The Shark name now extends to upright and canister vacuums as well as powerful steam irons and other products. Euro-Pro also owns the Fantom line of vacuum cleaners.
